SED Computation at a Glance
For each source, only the 3 (at most) SEDs with a probability greater than 1% will be considered.
- Select Vizier catalogues overlapping with the XMM catalogue footprint and covering all spectral bands.
- Filter the observations (e.g., LMC/SMC, M31 .. removed).
- Group observations according to the catalogs that cover them.§
- Compute different correlation patterns for each source with the
Arches
tool. Each pattern is associated with a probability. - Keep the 3 (at most) most likely correlation patterns.
- Compute the FITS SEDs for each selected pattern.
- Compute the plots from the FITS.
- Deploy the
sedfinder
API.
